Hannah 'Strizz' Stracy

Let's start at the beginning...

Hannah's floristry story starts at age 18 as a creative from the small town of Pontypridd walking into the local florist asking for work experience. Coming from a family of florists with grandparents and aunties working within the industry it was only a matter of time before Hannah dipped her toe in the floral pool.

From there she became the right hand woah-man of another florist and was completely in love with her job!

​This realisation came around the same time Hannah was heading to university so the dream was put on hold. Five years later with a degree under her toolbelt and a few years working as a Landscape Architect Hannah decided it was finally time to press play on what she really wanted to do. Which was following her mind and heart to become a florist.

Pick Me was set up as a flexible freelance business operating from a workshop set in beautiful gardens in the small village of Creigiau on the outskirts of Cardiff with the approach of 'fun and professional' to all it's work.

​

Since setting up Pick Me Hannah has travelled across the UK working alongside other talented florists and solo work. Hannah is currently training towards the aspiration to one day becoming a recognised and qualified Master Florist.

Hannah has a deep rooted passion for floral design and thrives on collaboration. Coming up with ideas to make an event unique and personal to a client is what Pick Me strives for in any commission.

Hannah believes it’s possible with the right imagination and the right florist to create something truly wonderful - call her and put her to the test, Pick Me love a floral challenge!
