Being a wedding fayre ninja!

Pure curiosity pushed us to go and attend a wedding fayre as a visitor not as a supplier so we loaded up the car with snacks, coffee and excitement!

We've decided not to disclose which wedding fayre we attended not because it wasnt totally awesome (because it bloomin' well was!) But it's more about the experience in general.

First off, what a weird situation signing in, getting our band and goodie bag and entering a wedding Narnia not lugging loads of stuff in to set up a display!

First question that seems to be asked by all suppliers, 'So who's getting married?' Once that's been established you can pretty much guarantee if it isn't you you no longer are important..sounds harsh but that's what we found!

Secondly, the word vomit is real! So much information is sent your way both verbally and visually it's hard to take it in so take everything offered to you and sign up for extra info..trust me you'll need it!

We treated it like a day out rather than a quick dash and good thing we did..you'll want to go around for a second time just to make sure you haven't missed anything.

Not everyone is the classic pushy seller! We're pleased to say that there was minimal if non at all of those dreaded people stepping into your pathway but we're very surprised to see some suppliers actually ignoring us!

We left with lots of goodies and some good lasting impressions and some not so good. Either way, things we're clearer and what a fun day out it was! Just remember, wedding fayres are for you to get ideas and get inspired and hopefully find some awesome suppliers to help with your big day so go with what you like!
